 ADULT CLASSESAdult Classes have now stopped for the summer.
Classes will resume the second week in August - Tuesday 14th.** CHILDRENS CLASSES & ENROLMENT **

Childrens Classes will also stop for the summer after the show.
We will return to Saturday classes at the beginning of September.

Enrolment will be Saturday 1st September 11am - 1pm at Mossneuk Community Hall.
Classes will then resume 2 weeks later on Saturday 15th, 22nd and 29th.

** THE SHOW **The show will be on the evening of 30th June at Claremont Parish Church (Approx 7.30pm start).

Dress rehearsal will be Tuesday 26th June at Claremont Parish Church (Time TBC).
Everyone taking part in the show MUST attend.

NEW CHILDREN'S CHEER CLASSDance Cheer Pom has returned to the Starlight Dance Company.

The new Cheer class will start Sat 21st April from 12.30pm - 1.30pm so come along! If you used to take part in the cheer class or fancy giving it a go - now's the time to join! Incorporating all the dance elements of cheerleading this is a really fun class which will make you feel and dance like an all American cheerleader! NEW ADULT CHEER CLASSES Our trial adult cheerleading class went really well on Tuesday night. Everyone had a lot of fun! So the class will start in full on Tuesday 26th September and will run for about a month to see how much interest there is for it. As with all the adult classes the aim is to have fun and keep fit.Cheerleading is actually a fantastic way to tone and build arms. There are also a lot of energetic dance steps similar to freestyle with a mix of music being used.

A BIG WELCOME BACK TO ALL DANCERS FOR THE NEW TERM!

Dancing returned on Sat and it was lovely seeing everyone dancing again. There have been a few changes to class times so please note that there is no cheerleading running at Mossneuk at the moment and there is an extra Tinkle Toes class in it's place at 1pm. If you are bringing your child to the Twinkle Toes class please call in advance to be advised what class has spaces available (i.e. 1pm or 2pm). Also, due to personal reasons classes at Claremont Church have been stopped for the time being. If you attend Claremont and wish to return, classes are available at Mossneuk. Please call or email for details.

**STARLIGHT DANCE COMPANY OPEN DAY SUCCESS **Thanks to everyone who took part in this years end of term display. It was even bigger and better than last year! A special thanks to the adult class who braved the stage for the first time. Everyone performed to a packed house of friends and family, who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.Thanks to all those who dug deep and donated generously on the day - we managed to raise over £200 for the N.S.P.C.C which is fantastic!

**STARLIGHT DANCE COMPANY OPEN DAY**The second Starlight Dance Company Open Day will take place on Sat 24th June inClaremont Parish Church, St. Leonards, at 2.00pm. Dancers will be displaying a variety of dancing including freestyle, tap and dance cheer pom. Some members of the adult class will even be showing off their disco and street dancing skills. It is free admission and a charity donation towards the N.S.P.C.C will be taken at the door. All donations will be greatly appreciated. All are welcome but please bear in mind there is limited seating. Hope to see you all there!!

**JANUARY CLASSES**Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all had a lovely festive season.Children's classes start back Saturday 7th January at the usual times.
Class dates for January will then be 14th, 21st and 28th.Adult classes resume Tuesday 10th January at the usual times.

DECEMBER DATES! Class dates for December areChildren Saturday classes run on Saturday 3rd, 10th and 17th.Adult Tuesday classes run on Tuesday 6th and 13th.

Please note we then stop for Christmas and will return in January 2006 on Saturday 7th for children and Tuesday 10th for adults.

No enrolment needed – just come back to class. We will be starting to work towards exam and open day work!

**NEW** ADULT DANCE CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE! Adult dance classes are now up and running with the Starlight Dance Company, in Tap/Modern and Disco. These are a great way to learn to dance and keep fit at the same time, and are much more fun than conventional methods of keeping fit! So why not give it a try. Classes commence on Tuesday 30th August at St. Brides Church Hall, Whitemoss Avenue.Tap/Modern - 7pm - 8pm

STARLIGHT DANCE COMPANY OPEN DAY SUCCESS!
 The first Starlight Dance Company Open Day was a huge success. Over 100 family and friends gathered at Claremont Parish Church on Saturday 25th June to watch all the dancers at the Starlight Dance Company strut their stuff and show off their moves! The show, which lasted around an hour, included dances in Tap, Modern, Disco and Cheer Pom, and at the end, all the dancers were presented with a Starlight Dance Company badge and award ribbon.

I was extremely proud of the dancers who are all a pleasure to teach. I must also say a big thanks for my beautiful bouquet and basket of flowers presented to me at the end of the show. It was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. All the dancers, spectators and myself thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Starlight Dance Company Open DaySaturday 25th June 2005 at 2.30pm Claremont Parish Church, High Common Road, St Leonard's, East KilbrideThe Starlight Dance Company will be holding it’s first open day on Sat 25th June. This is a great chance for all the dancers to show everyone what they have been learning over the past few months. It also gives people who are thinking about joining a dance class, an opportunity to come along and see what we do. All are welcome and there is no entrance fee.The dancers will perform the routines they have been working on for the past few months and also have the chance to show off their own moves in the freestyle section. There will also be a small award ceremony at the end of all the dancing.So, please feel free to come along and have a look. I hope everyone, including the dancers, have a great day. See you then.

Change To Class Times And LocationsThe Church Board at Claremont Parish Church, have decided that there is to be no more tap dancing in the hall due to the adverse effect it seems to be having on the floor. Therefore, this will effect the Twinkle Toes and Stage classes.As of 16th April, the following changes will take effect. Starlight Dance Company begins. . . .

Enrolment day was a great success on Saturday 8th January. It was lovely to see so many people come along to enrol and support the new dance school. Thanks to all of those who signed up!
